KIND: Studying LovingKindness with Intersectional Neuroscience and Diverse Meditators
KIND (Studying LovingKindness with Intersectional Neuroscience and Diverse meditators) is a collaborative research project undertaken with the East Bay Meditation Center. KIND explores how members of a diverse community teach and practice loving-kindness meditation during times of uncertainty in support of their health, well-being, sense of community, and responses to injustice, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. KIND is the first community-engaged, mixed-methods neuroscience study focused on loving-kindness meditation.
