Community Care Fund

Commnunity Care Fund

The Community Care Fund (CCF) is a limited-assistance program developed for economically disadvantaged individuals. CCF was established for clinical services and treatments provided in the Osher Center clinic, and now has been expanded to subsidize costs for our Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction class in English and Spanish. Patients receive CCF support based on documented financial needs.

Clinical Support for Osher Center Patients

Existing Osher Center patients can apply to receive CCF assistance to cover the cost of acupuncture, massage therapy, biofeedback, supplements, and botanicals.

As we raise funds from both foundation gifts and private donations, CCF is a limited-assistance program requiring a lead Osher Center practitioner's oversight of your comprehensive treatment plan and consideration of clinic service availability.

Support for Public Osher Center Classes in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

Through the Community Care Fund (CCF), the Osher Center is covering the cost of an eight-week course in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) in English and Spanish. This course introduces mindfulness practices in the form of sitting meditation, body awareness, and mindful movement. This program can be beneficial for those experiencing the negative impacts of stress, for those experiencing chronic physical or emotional distress, or for anyone interested in learning ways to maintain health and well-being.

The eight-week course is typically priced at $395, but we are offering it for free for applicants who qualify for CCF. To view the schedule and instructors for our Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction classes in English and Spanish, visit our Public Classes webpage.
