Jamie Cohen is a psychologist who specializes in caring for patients with cancer. Her interests include motivational processes involved in adaptive health behavior change, facilitating integrative and interdisciplinary approaches to comprehensive health care, and assisting patients and their families in coping with the challenges associated with cancer diagnosis, care and survivorship.
As a member of the psycho-oncology team, Cohen offers services that include setting goals and navigating problems in the context of cancer treatment, as well as cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based interventions for managing pain, insomnia, fatigue, stress and other common issues.
Cohen earned her doctor of psychology degree from the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology (PGSP) – Stanford PsyD Consortium. She completed a predoctoral internship at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship with an emphasis in primary care psychology at the
San Francisco Veterans Affairs Health Care System.
