Experience

Natalie Marshall, MD, is a medical oncologist providing comprehensive care for patients from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. She served as Medical Director of the UCSF–John Muir Health Cancer Center in Berkeley, where she combines evidence-based cancer care with a strong commitment to helping patients improve their overall health and well-being throughout their cancer journey. Her clinical practice integrates chemotherapy, targeted therapies and immunotherapy with lifestyle strategies that support long-term health, resilience and quality of life. She partners with patients to develop sustainable approaches to nutrition, sleep, stress management, exercise and strength training, empowering them with tools that may help reduce the risk of cancer recurrence while supporting treatment and recovery. Known for her collaborative and compassionate approach, Dr. Marshall believes that exceptional cancer care extends beyond treating disease to educating and supporting patients and their families every step of the way.

Throughout her career, Dr. Marshall has remained committed to expanding access to innovative therapies. She started at Yale New Haven Hospital as a fellow and faculty member in the breast care unit and stem cell transplantation program, and later worked in New Mexico and California in community oncology. At New Mexico Cancer Center for more than a decade, she ran the state's only program that conducted autologous stem cell transplantation.
