Massage Therapy

Promote Health and Healing

Massage therapy is one of the oldest of the healing arts. During a treatment, the physical manipulation of soft tissue structures in the body may help to relieve pain and physical discomfort.

You will receive a personalized massage therapy treatment from one of our highly experienced massage therapists that combines the techniques best suited to address your needs. Some of the modalities we offer are: Swedish, Esalen, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, prenatal, acupressure, shiatsu, myofascial release, orthobionomy, reflexology, and craniosacral therapy.

Massage therapy may reduce stress responses, promote healing and restoration, and help you to achieve a sense of well-being.

Research Findings

Research has found that massage therapy may result in positive physical and psychological benefits for people with many medical conditions.

Studies indicate that massage therapy may be effective for anxiety and stress, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, lymphedema management, musculoskeletal disorders, neonatal care, pregnancy, and sleep disorders, among other issues. Studies have also shown that massage therapy may result in a decrease in circulating stress hormones. The International Journal of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork has an online database of massage therapy research outcomes.
