Newly-Diagnosed with Breast Cancer

Evidence-based skills to maximize well-being and cope with common challenges during cancer treatment
Newly-Diagnosed with Breast Cancer

In this group medical visit series, participants will learn evidence-based skills to maximize well-being and cope with common challenges during cancer treatment which in turn, can lessen suffering and lead to better cancer outcomes. A benefit of group visits is the opportunity for participants to connect with others facing similar experiences. At every meeting, each group member will also have private one-on-one time with our Breast Clinic Nurse Practitioner, who can answer and discuss medical questions.

Eligible patients include those who were diagnosed with breast cancer (stage 103) in the last 6 months and are receiving treatment at UCSF. Participants must be available to attend all 6 sessions.
