Project Inspire: A New Translational Tool for Studying the Role of Breathing in Meditation

Applying a new translational tool, an ambulatory monitor of expired CO2, we will investigate pathways by which breathing exercises, such as mindful breathing — a cornerstone of mindfulness meditation — can lower blood pressure in women with pre-hypertension.
