Vaidya Scientist Namyata Pathak, BAMS, MD (Ayu), VSF is one of the US's most extensively India-trained Ayurveda clinicians (vaidyas). In India, she was trained in both Ayurveda and modern medicine to offer sustainable health transformations in complex chronic diseases. She has integrative clinical research experience with Parkinson's Disease, Metabolic Syndrome, and Women's Health issues—menopausal and pubertal transitions. She is the Adjunct Director of Clinical Research at Kasturba Health Society-Medical Research Center, India.
In the US, she teaches Ayurvedic Medicine (AM) at leading schools and is a Board Member of the Ayurvedic Accreditation Commission. She serves seekers of health and well-being at Ayu.Care, a HIPPA-compliant digital and physical clinic in Bay Area, California, as an Integrative Ayurveda specialist.
She has diverse clinical experience in the US and India in various socio-cultural-economic strata for over two decades. She is strongly convinced that AM has a unique role in the future of person-centric whole health because; 'Medicine treats diseases; AM treats the person who has the disease'.
She loves connecting with life in its wholesome wilderness, reading, learning, sharing, biking, self-contemplating, being in nature, and raising her two young daughters in a brave new world.
