Experience
Elena Fidanova has been a Certified Massage Therapist since 2017. She aspires to provide safe and effective integrated massage and bodywork in a personalized care plan and blends a range of modalities: oncology massage, manual lymphatic drainage, Swedish, craniosacral therapy, cupping, myofascial release, prenatal and postpartum massage, Trigger point, Neuromuscular Therapy, stretching and mobilization. Elena has experience working with patients with cancer and neurological challenges and has been practicing geriatric and palliative massage and lymphedema management.
Prior to joining the team at the Osher Center clinic, she has been in private practice. She served as a fellow massage therapist for hospital-based oncology, neurology, pediatric, cardiology, lung transplant, ICU, hospice and infusion center patients at the UCSF Parnassus, Mission Bay Benioff Children’s Hospital, and Mount Zion campuses. She has been a volunteer practitioner at the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic for Integrative Cancer Care in Oakland and the Integrative Healers Action Network, an organization that offers trauma-informed integrative health care for first responders and underserved communities impacted by disasters. She has worked for a large non-profit health organization assisting with care coordination and services for people living with neuromuscular diseases.
