A medical group visit program to promote healthy aging
AGE Self Care Redwoods

This program empowers older adults of all ages and backgrounds to improve their health, social connections, and home environment so they can age happily and healthily at home. The program is designed to educate and empower older adults in maintaining and improving their well-being by:

  • Recognizing opportunities to improve health at any age with help from gerontologists.

  • Modifying their home environment for ongoing independence with advice from architects.

  • Growing and retaining social networks and other supportive relationships with insights from social workers.

  • Finding new sources of purpose and meaning as they move through the decades of older age.

This series includes 12, 90-minute weekly sessions taught by Dr. Louise Aronson, plus one booster session.

Patients ages 65 or older are eligible.

The visits are billable to insurance. Refferal required.
