Cathi Dennehy, PharmD

Cathi Dennehy, PharmD, is a Health Sciences Clinical Professor of Pharmacy at the UCSF School of Pharmacy. After earning her degree, she completed two years of advanced pharmacy residency training. Dr. Dennehy served as the program director to the UCSF Pharmacy residency training program for 16 years and continues to enjoy mentoring students and residents. She delivers and oversees the curriculum in Core Principles of Interprofessional Practice for the five health professional schools at UCSF and in gastrointestinal health for the UCSF School of Pharmacy. As a clinician, she provides direct patient care for UCSF Health in the Transitions of Care Clinic and the Anticoagulation Clinic. Dr. Dennehy is internationally known for her expertise in herbal medicine and dietary supplements, based on her publications, clinical research, affiliations, speaking engagements, and health education.
