Experience
Bharathi is a passionate Ayurveda practitioner, educator, speaker, and researcher with over 26 years of clinical experience. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Bangalore University, India, and is a Fellow in Integrative Medicine through the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine. Additionally, she is a certified Vyasa Yoga Instructor.
Bharathi has been serving the Orange County, California, community through her integrative Ayurvedic practice. She is also a dedicated faculty member at the Southern California University of Health Sciences and Mount Madonna Institute, and serves as a visiting Ayurveda instructor at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California (USC).
An active contributor to the field of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), Bharathi has presented lectures and workshops at numerous integrative medicine forums. She has co-authored several publications, including the book Hepatitis C Choices.
Bharathi currently serves as Vice Chair of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association Certification Board (NAMACB) and Chair of the BAMS Task Force, where she continues to advance professional standards and certification processes for Ayurveda practitioners in the United States.
In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time in nature.
