Melinda Ring
- Director, Osher Center at Northwestern University

I have served as the Director of the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Northwestern University since 2007, where I specialize in evidence-informed, patient-centered care. My integrative medicine consult practice explores all adult health concerns through an integrative medicine lens, with a special focus on Women's Health, especially hormonal imbalances like menopause, PCOS, and thyroid disorders. Beyond my clinical practice, I'm deeply passionate about education. I teach courses in integrative medicine and culinary medicine, aimed at medical professionals. I'm also the director of the national Osher Collaborative integrative medicine fellowship training program.
I'm committed to pushing the boundaries of the field through research and advocacy. To that end, I serve on the editorial boards of key journals in Integrative Medicine and chair the American Board of Integrative Medicine. My work is a unique blend of traditional medical practices and evidence-based complementary therapies. My ultimate goal is to empower both patients and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal health and well-being
