Patient Relations

The Patient Relations Department provides services for you and your family to ensure that your experience at UCSF Medical Center is a good one. If you or your family have a question or concern about your stay, please contact Patient Relations.

Your Rights as a Patient

At UCSF we respect the confidentiality of our patients, colleagues and visitors. We recognize that each patient has unique healthcare needs and we encourage partnership between the patient and the healthcare team. We encourage patients or their legally designated representative to participate in discussions and decisions about their treatments, options, alternatives, risks, and benefits.
