Wild Patience: A Peer Support Group for People with Cancer

Lotus flowerThis group is intended for individuals with cancer who are choosing an approach of "watchful waiting" in the context of limited treatment options. Peer support and conversation may powerfully illuminate the life challenges accompanying this decision and offer a sense of community for participants.

If you have cancer and are choosing an approach of "watchful waiting", please join us for this support group. Topics that may be discussed include:

  • Communicating your decision to family and friends
  • Choosing and cultivating essential relationships
  • Living mindfully in the face of uncertainty
