Staying Well Project
This project will examine the effects of a meditation based stress reduction program and an education program on HIV.  The study will look at CD4 T- cell counts and viral load levels, depression and quality of life, and stress hormones. For more information visit the Staying Well Project Website.

Focus Study: R21 A Mindfulness Approach to HIV Treatment Side Effects

This is a randomized controlled trial to provide preliminary evidence of the efficacy of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) intervention to remediated side effects and side effect - related distress from antiretroviral therapy in HIV treatement.

Acupuncture for the Treatment of Chronic Sinusitis
This randomized, controlled, single-blinded study will evaluate the effect of adding acupuncture to standard medical treatment on indicators of chronic sinusitis, namely quality of life, as measured by radiographic imaging, physical examination, and self-reported symptoms and disability.
