Tai Chi Chuan & Tai Chi Gong

Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient martial art that has been refined into a series of slow rhythmic exercises designed to increase circulation throughout the body, improve balance, and calm the mind. Participants will learn the basic movements of the Yang-style long form. We offer day and evening classes for beginning and
continuing students.

Tiger Mountain Tai Chi Gong was developed by third generation Tai Chi Chuan Master Tung, Kai Ying.  It is comprised of movements from the classical Yang form of Tai Chi Chuan, comprised of only nine movements it is designed specifically for the health benefits it provides. Like Tai Chi the moves are done with slow deliberate attention.  This gentle method of practice is especially good for those whose physical health has been compromised by illness or injury.

Each class meets for 10 weekly sessions. Please see the schedules below for more information.
